Jingdezhen University is located in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, a national historical and cultural city, an excellent tourist city in China, and a world-renowned porcelain city of 1,000 years. Its predecessor is Jingdezhen University of Education, founded in 1977 and upgraded to Jingdezhen University in 2013.
